Dr. Carbonell attended University of Miami where he obtained a Bachelors Degree. He then spent a year at Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine where he remained in the top 20th percentile of his class. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he was on the Dean’s List each year he attended. Dr. Carbonell then completed 2 years of podiatric surgical residency training at Baptist Health Systems / South Miami Hospital. He joined Dr. Robert Garnet as an associate in his practice in 1998, and as of 2000 is a partner in the practice.
